Join us for Flower Bouquet & Ceramic Vase Workshop on Saturday 14.3. at 13.00 in Harjun Kukka Studio.

The workshop begins with a floral session, followed by the design and construction of a slab-built ceramic vase shaped specifically for the flowers.

In the flower workshop, participants draw inspiration from seasonal blooms and a range of colors, creating a hand-tied bouquet using the spiral technique. Inspired by their floral arrangements, they then design and build a ceramic vase that reflects the shapes, colors, and character of the flowers.

The ceramic work is inspired by pyeonbyeong , a traditional Korean flat vase designed to sit close to the wall, allowing flowers and space to quietly coexist. 

The ceramic vases are made using Finnish wild clay. Finished pieces will be fired after the workshop and will be ready for pickup at a later date.

The workshop lasts approximately 4 hours. The price includes all materials and instructions. The workshop language is English. 

A minimum of 8 participants is required for the workshop to take place.

June in Winter is a small ceramic studio run by June, based in Helsinki, creating ceramic pieces that bring warmth to Finland's long, cold winters.
