About us

Harjun Kukka is a Helsinki-based flower shop and florist service. Our shop is located on Fleminginkatu, on the edge of Karhupuisto, in the heart of Kallio, Helsinki. Our flower shop collaborates with several local brick-and-mortar businesses. We want to do our part to maintain a vibrant urban culture and local services.

We also want to promote a shift in the flower industry towards more sustainable operating models. Our selection includes domestic flowers and cut flowers grown in nearby areas, depending on the season. In the summer, we grow cut flowers for sale on a small scale in our own garden and utilize natural materials in our flower wrapping. We have been operating in the industry for over seven years with a zero waste principle. We order flowers only when needed and dry the leftover cut flowers for further use. We use biodegradable or recycled materials in our flower wrapping and packaging.
